Freda: Weather ideal for bass, bait - NorthJersey.com
Freda: Weather ideal for bass, bait - NorthJersey.com: "There was an improvement in striped bass fishing this past week as much better weather conditions helped the ocean settle, and striped bass and bait schooled up. We had spring-like conditions for most of this week as air temperatures approached 60 degrees. Some of the best action that took place was at the Shrewsbury Rocks in northern Monmouth County, where diving gulls and gannets marked the activity with bass pushing baits and busting up on the surface. These bass are providing some late-season action for boaters and party boats that are heading out."

Baits That Trigger Reaction Bites | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC
Baits That Trigger Reaction Bites | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "The next time you’re headed to the lake, think about how you plan to catch those fish. I say that because most anglers think about choosing irresistible lures that will entice bass into striking. However, I think anglers should focus more attention on a fish’s natural reaction, especially on those tough days when weather fronts have taken the edge off their aggressiveness or when the fish are getting a lot of angling pressure."
