Fishing report: Ice fishing season far from over in Muskegon area despite recent thaw | MLive.com: "MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Despite higher temperatures in recent days, the ice fishing season is far from over, according to Muskegon-area fishing experts.

Nathan Jandt, store manager at Snug Harbor Outfitters in Muskegon, said the average ice depth on Muskegon Lake is about 18 to 20 inches, so a couple days of warmer weather isn’t going to do much."
