Time to wet a line: Catching crappie - The Palm Coast Observer
Time to wet a line: Catching crappie - The Palm Coast Observer: "If there’s a close second to bass-fishing fanaticism in the freshwater fishing world, it must be crappie-fishing craziness.
Crappie (and it’s pronounced “CROP-pie,” potty mouth) aren’t very big fish — the state record, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Committee's website, is 3.83 pounds, and most crappie are closer to one pound — but they have a heck of a big following."

NationalProStaff.com - Walleye fishing
NationalProStaff.com - Walleye fishing: "ent out on the lake monday for the day off of school. trailered out there then launched our snowmobiles. was a windy day and was hard to see, so we had a couple gps's and phones. got to our spot at 7:30 and was set up by 8:15.
we were fishing in 11 feet of water. Didn't catch much for the first little bit. marked a couple on my flasher, weren't able to get them to bite. finally a big mark came in and i tried getting its attention it came in then went back down to the bottom. Then i ripped my 1/2 ounze pink thinfisher an it launched from the bottom and bit it and i set the hook. felt good, my brother took my flasher out of the water so my line didn't get tangled around it. Fought it for a little then brought it through the hole and grabbed it with my hand. 22" Green Back. Good first fish of the day."
