Bank Fishing | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

Bank Fishing | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "Many fishermen don't have shiny new bass boats with 250 h.p. outboards and trolling motors with 70 lbs. of thrust. They are either restricted to a small Johnboat, or fish from the bank. The latter are often at a disadvantage. Usually they are denied most of the prime fishing areas. Some get mad, and others just quit fishing."

Making A Good Point | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

Making A Good Point | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "We have heard the word point of all our lives. There are good points, bad points, points of interest, decimal points, all kinds of points. There were even the ones Mama would remind us of like, it's not polite to point. Those of us who fish must be more concerned with points because they can, and will affect our fishing."

Braid or monofiliment? | Crappie Fishing | Texas Fishing Forum

Braid or monofiliment? | Crappie Fishing | Texas Fishing Forum: "1 on Bonehead braid.
+1 On crappie jigs, I just reel up tight with the rod and line straight, put my thumb on the spool and pull

It -is- different from other braids. I really don't like any other braid (personal preference) for the reasons mentioned.
Love the increased sensitivity, strength and hi-vis. Like Todd says, it is easy to tie knots and cut it, and it doesn's slice your fingers.
Plus no memory and kinking like with mono, especially in the winter months.
Love that stuff."

I returned to the Fox about 10 days after my last report where Pete Yake and I really did well with 60 fish in about 7 hours. This time it was my Pastor, David Anderson. We caught a very nice day and got into a pod of males right away...Drifting vertically with plastics..."

The Hard Truth About Sponsorship | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

The Hard Truth About Sponsorship | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "It seems that a lot of tournament fishermen are willing to stop just short of selling their souls to be sponsored. I was recently on a website that had several tournament fishermen listed and their sponsors. Some of these guys had eight or ten sponsors and have never left the ranks of the weekend tournament circuits. Out of curiosity and maybe a bit of envy I started looking at some of the pro staff sections of their sponsor's websites. I stopped looking after three."

Bass Basics | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "
The North American largemouth bass is our nation's most popular fish. Perhaps more has been written about this species of fish that any other I have ever encountered. Speak to any bass fisherman or woman, and they will tell you stories of "monster bass", crazy baits and ridiculous situations that these fish have been caught in."
