Top to Bottom Bass Fishing | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

Top to Bottom Bass Fishing | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "Here is a look at some of the baits and methods I use on a seasonal basis. There are of course several that I did not write about but this is largely my approach to bass fishing here in New York.
Although I am not a huge deep water guy primarily based on the waters in my geographical area, I can regularly take fish down to about 20 feet....although I too prefer to spend much of my time from surface to about 12 feet. I could write about this all day but time won't permit that. Here is a basic overview of what I use to cover the depths I fish from top to bottom."

How To Fish Tube Baits | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

How To Fish Tube Baits | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "The names Bobby and Garry Garland are certain to be enshrined in the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame one day due to the original tube bait the brothers developed called the Gitzit. The invented the lure to help them catch finicky fish on Lake Mead in Arizona. It is still one of the best finesse baits ever designed. There are tons of knock-offs, but a lot of anglers insist that the original Gitzit is the best. Sadly Bobby and Garry have both passed on. I actually met up with Garry a few years before he died and fished Roosevelt with him."

Cranking the weeds for largemouth bass

Cranking the weeds for largemouth bass: "Once again, I’d like to thank you for all the great e-mails and photos that you have sent.

Weeds are the most important type of cover for largemouth bass. They produce oxygen for the fish and allow them a hiding place to ambush their prey.

Many anglers that I see on the water are using Texas rigged plastics, top water baits and spinners so as not to pull weeds on every cast."
