Making Plastic Worm Molds | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC
Making Plastic Worm Molds |
It's quite easy once you get started. The equipment is very cheap, the rewards are considerable and you can copy most lures, even grubs!
The following method is for one- and two-part molds. Flat-sided baits of a one-part mold work, but may not appeal to the eye in some styles or have the same action as a totally rounded lure. The Senko or other jerk worm is the easiest to duplicate and catch fish immediately (one or two part). To get started though, a simple one-part mold is fine for many forms that will catch fish.

Master Series on Finesse Fishing With Ike (Lesson 10: Everybody loves shaky heads)
Many of today's anglers think the shaky head is a new technique, but the technique has been around for half a century, if not longer. Only the name is new. We used to call it a jighead worm.

Don't Excuse the Weather - Unplugged - Wired 2 Fish
Don't Excuse the Weather - Unplugged - Wired 2 Fish: "here is probably not a more used excuse for a bad day of fishing than the weather. The longer I fish, the more apparent it becomes to me that the most important factor in the day-to-day activities of a bass is the weather. Although there are many aspects of weather that can play a part in the life of a bass, there are few that seem to make a difference more often than others. There are a few factors I keep an eye on and the reasons why I feel they are important."

Take Me Fishing | What is Fly Fishing
Take Me Fishing | What is Fly Fishing: "To start fly fishing you need a fly rod, a line and some artificial flies. The idea is to catch fish by getting them to bite on an imitation of a bug or baitfish on, or just below, the water."
Blade Baits For Big Largemouth Bass | Big Fishing Shop
Blade Baits For Big Largemouth Bass | Big Fishing Shop: "Most bass fisherman, because of their use of jigs and worms, have forgotten some of the most important baits that can under the right circumstances catch numbers of hard to catch bass, and many times mean the difference in winning a tournament. These baits don’t have the appeal, or tournament winning reputation of such baits as topwaters, soft plastics, and spinnerbaits. Anglers that are just starting out in bass fishing are many times unaware of how and when to use these lures. Even some really good bass fisherman don’t understand the role of these hard metal baits."
