It has been hot ... again! Not the most pleasant time to be on the water. I’ve had many questions recently about how to catch fish in the heat, particularly bass. Well, spinnerbaits are one of the best baits to toss at bass, especially during summer heat spells. It is one of my favorite baits for both largemouth and smallmouth bass. I’ll also use spinnerbaits on northern pike and musky when I have the opportunity. It is a very versatile lure."
