Where It All Begins And Ends | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

Where It All Begins And Ends | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "If you fish for bass and know who Kevin VanDam is, you have likely heard of Strike King Lure Company.  Their lures have won tournaments for forty years in every level of competition.  Denny Brauer, Shaw Grigsby, and George Cochran, all made Strike King Lures known through performance, seminars, and TV.  What people do not know is it’s not just the pros who design and come up with ideas for products; there is a team behind every lure that comes out on the market."

Pocket : Texas Angler Reels in 11-foot Tiger Shark from Shore

Pocket : Texas Angler Reels in 11-foot Tiger Shark from Shore: "While some people enjoy Discovery Channel’s “Shark Week” in front of a television, others would rather experience these marvelous creatures firsthand. Last Friday, angler Wayne Wimmer landed an 11-foot, four-inch-long tiger shark on a beach in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was the end result of a grueling three-and-a-half-hour duel with the fish. Wimmer attributes the catch to the support he received from his fishing team as well as the large crowd that had gathered over the course of the reeling in."

Pocket : Fishing for King Salmon in the Midwest

Pocket : Fishing for King Salmon in the Midwest: "I did something last week that I haven’t done for a long time. I went fishing for king salmon. The last time I fished for kings was back in the ’80s. I enjoyed it then, but had just never gotten around to doing it again. So when some friends invited me to join them for a morning of salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, I quickly accepted. This type of fishing is great for a group of anglers who want the chance to catch perhaps the hardest-fighting freshwater fish there is. It’s a simple deal. You do some research on the various charter boats, determine which one best meets your needs, book the trip, and show up at the agreed-upon time. The charter provides pretty much everything but your personal items. Here’s how our trip went."
