Rigs For All Reasons | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

Rigs For All Reasons | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "I don't see what you bass fishermen need with all them rods. I'm doing all I can to fish with two," said the semi-pro crappie fisherman. He was tied up beside me as I waited on my partner to park the truck and trailer before we left to pre-fish that morning.
I can fully understand why six or seven rods, all rigged differently laying on the deck of a bass boat might seem extravagant to a fisherman who only uses one rig all day. But as bass fishermen, we know there are at least that many rigs that are different from each other and every one has it's own application. I personally hate to take the time to even retie after I break one off, much less settle for one rod, one reel, one line size and all the knots needed to fish every given situation encountered on a single fishing day."

Fishing With The Wind | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

Fishing With The Wind | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "When I first began fishing tournaments, panic set in any time the wind forecast was over 10 mph. I hated the wind because it made boat control difficult, drained trolling motor batteries, caused constant backlashes and left me with some "punk" hairdos before they were in style. I detested the wind - it blew my mind and gave me a bad attitude. I was defeated before I ever made my first cast.
One day, I remember reading an article about the wind being your friend. It said success would improve for those who quit fighting it and worked with it instead. I studied that article in depth and began readjusting my attitude."

How To Find and Catch Bass | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC

How To Find and Catch Bass | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "When I go out fishing on the lake, I often remember a game my mother taught us, and I played with my sons. You get down on your hands and knees behind a door and wait until someone walks by, lunge out and say "gotcha!" The reason I am telling you this is, bass do this all of their lives."
