Bring it on Winter – Cold Water Bass Tactics: "The first day of winter is not very far away and in the middle southern portion of North America the water temperature is in the fifty-one to fifty-four degree range. A perfect fall comes to an end as the transition between the seasons continues to lower the water temperature. In the last few post we have discussed several cold water techniques for catching bass and in this post we can highlight a few more that are popular among the anglers that brave the cold for the bite. The most important thing for anglers to remember that in temperatures below fifty, the quantity of bass may decrease but patience will usually pay off with quality bass when fishing cold water. "
