Shallow water redfishing
Shallow water redfishing: "From Oriental to Carolina Beach, the Intracoastal Waterway in North Carolina hosts thousands of boats on a daily basis. Most of these are cruisers out for a good time, or travelers bringing boats from one place to another. If these folks knew where to look they would find a wealth of fish holding, shallow water habitat and myriad species. The glamour fish here is the red drum."

Howard Films - Bass: The Movie. Airing on ESPN2 and available as bass fishing dvd.: "This is the first comprehensive look behind the scenes of Bass: The Movie. We pitted a conventional angler and a fly rod angler against one another in a Bass Eden. Who would win? Well, as it turned out, it evolved into a surprising team that left the Bass literally shaking their heads."

Outdoor News at Poorfish.com: Baiting the Big Perch
Outdoor News at Poorfish.com: Baiting the Big Perch: "Yellow perch has long been a fish that has not been overly sought out by anglers. They are known to be a very tasty fish but extremely difficult to catch and clean. While there are some other species of perch that are more forgiving to the angler, they are not the ones that normally end up on the end of the fishing line, but with some advancements in tackle and technique the larger yellow perch are much more attainable than ever before. You may be asking yourself how is this going to happen? Quite simply…time, practice, and strategy."
Albino musky caught on Flambeau River - JSOnline
Albino musky caught on Flambeau River - JSOnline: "Parise, of Ladysmith, caught a 51-inch inch albino musky on Oct. 6 on the lower Flambeau River in Rusk County.
The fish is the second albino musky caught in Wisconsin waters over the last five years. A state Department of Natural Resources fisheries crew caught one in their nets during population surveys in 2005. That fish was far smaller at 32.7 inches long."

How to Throw a Cast Net
How to Throw a Cast Net: "A cast net is used as a mechanism for fishing in shallow waters. This fishing gear is an age old mechanism that has been used in several cultures of the world for many years. As is apparent from the word 'net', this technique is used to catch and trap fish with the usage of a net. Yet it's something that works best in shallow waters and for a small scale fishing expedition rather than for commercial purposes."
How to fish that little backyard (or Park) pond
How to fish that little backyard (or Park) pond: "Nearly every angler has cut his or her teeth on a little body of water near where they grew up. For some of us it was a neighborhood pond or a neighbor's farm pond, while for the more urban set it was a City park pond festooned with bread-frenzied ducks. For some it was a small creek or canal but many of the tactics presented here will apply. For the youngster, these waters hold mysterious monster fish as big as cars, though it only seems like what we caught could probably fit in a grown-up's pocket. Little did you know that large fish often can and do lurk in these little bodies of water, and even if you don't hook the pond beast, excellent fishing can be had in the little puddle sized ponds of our youth!"
World Record Sunfish (Redear) | Fishing Fury - A fishing blog with attitude!
World Record Sunfish (Redear) | Fishing Fury - A fishing blog with attitude!: "We don’t talk much about panfish on Fishing Fury and I’m not sure why. We have definitely been caught up in the excitement of pike and musky fishing in the last four years, but we began fishing as most did, catching little sunfish and bluegil. When finding fish in new locations is slow, I know I can fall back on catching the usually overlooked panfish."
