Must Have River Bass Baits - Fishing Tackle - Bass Fishing Forums: "What lures would you never leave the house with on a river fishing trip? I'm going river fishing this weekend during a camping trip but I don't wanna take alot of my tackle due to limited space.
I'm bringing a small tackle box with all my cat fishing stuff and some spools of leader line.
For bass fishing I'm bringing a jitterbug, lipless crank, squarebill crank, 4 spinnerbaits, trickworms, craws, and swimbaits. Is there anything else y'all would try to cram into this small box?? "

Anytime of the year is a good time to tie on a crankbait. I think first of crankbaits when I'm trying to locate fish. Whether on a new lake or just the ones close to home where I fish regularly, these lures will help you find fish."

Does Anyone Still Have Faith In Spoons? - Fishing Tackle - Bass Fishing Forums
Does Anyone Still Have Faith In Spoons? - Fishing Tackle - Bass Fishing Forums: "I bought some Johnson spoons awhile back and started using them and yeah I caught fish and its fun and all but it seems like there is always something that produces better than a spoon on any day. I'm not going to go out and act like I've mastered spoons because that would be a lie but I know how to fish them with success. Does anyone still like to use spoons a lot? by the way I'm talking about bass only, I love fishing spoons when I'm fishing for redfish."

Bass Fishing In The Rain | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC
Bass Fishing In The Rain | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "If you're a newcomer to bass fishing, one of the best investments you can make is in a good quality, leak-proof rain suit. Forget the inexpensive "ponchos" on the market - they become worthless in breezy weather. A good rain suit has a flap-covered, zippered front, Velcro adjusters at wrists and ankles, dry pocket flaps and waterproof sealed seams all the way round."
