Lund unveils new tiller model | Boating Industry: "NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. –“These boats will have a dramatic impact on tournament angling, and on walleye fishing for years to come,” proclaimed legendary angler Al Lindner in 1987, having just experienced a new breed of fishing boat known as the Lund Pro-V. Literally weeks later, Mr. Walleye, Gary Roach, proved Al’s prediction, winning a major MWC tournament in his newly christened Pro-V tiller. Roach’s radical rig would soon be the envy of anglers everywhere."

Deep Water Dropshotting | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC
Deep Water Dropshotting | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "One of the great benefits that we bass fishermen have here in middle Tennessee is that we can chase our prey all year long. Under normal conditions our lakes never freeze over. Most of the time, even with the winter draw down, we have great boat ramps that are always assessable. We have shallow water lakes and river type lakes that have a constant current and flow. We have lakes that have hot water discharge plants that keep several miles of water with spring like temperatures all winter. "

Advice for Anglers: Maintaining Through February | OutdoorHub
Advice for Anglers: Maintaining Through February | OutdoorHub: "February is downtime for many anglers across much of North America, with the exception of those hearty souls pursuing action through the ice. Even those fair-weather fishermen south of the Mason-Dixon Line who prefer to chase fish when weather conditions are more favorable may find themselves “weathered in” and off the water this time of year. And up north, March means the start of open water action—so now’s the time to tend to your tackle."

Are You Fishing Your Lipless Crankbaits Correctly? « Wired2Fish: "Lipless crankbaits are a great remedy for tough wintertime bass fishing. With these ultra-lifelike baitfish imitations accounting for a large percentage of winter’s biggest bass, the secret is out—they’re some legit, fish-catching lures. Video: Sailfish Jumps in Boat, Anglers Jump Out | OutdoorHub: "Most of the time anglers marvel from afar at the jumping abilities of sailfish, but sometimes they can get a little bit too close for comfort. The last thing anglers want to see is a flailing bill at the head of a 200-pound animal, especially if you’re not too keen on being part of a shish kabob. This video uploaded by Crocodile Bay Resort shows two anglers bailing as a third man brings the fish on board."

All Year Jerkbaits | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC
All Year Jerkbaits | The Ultimate Bass Fishing Resource Guide® LLC: "I'm not going to lie to you. One of my favorite ways to catch bass is using a jerkbait. Because I am a true power fisherman, this technique allows me to cover maximum amounts of water, and allows me to generate that reaction strike that I'm always trying to generate. In fact, my first major win as a pro, the 1999 B.A.S.S. Top 150 on Lake Champlain, came in part to help from a jerkbait. So lets discuss the when, what, and where of jerkbaiting."

Crappie Fishing Late Winter Into Spring | Hugh Krutz Fishing blog
Crappie Fishing Late Winter Into Spring | Hugh Krutz Fishing blog: "Well I have finally put the hunting gear away and started getting the fishing gear ready. I have enjoyed my little break from crappie fishing over the last several months. For the last ten years or so I have fished twelve months out of the year, but this year I spent some time off chasing deer and ducks. I had a very successful season even though I didn’t get a deer I witnessed some of the best deer action I have ever seen. Luckily the mallards were plentiful so I got to shoot my gun, but that’s for another day as this blog is about fishing!"
